Art for everyone. art:21 (Art in the Twenty-First Century) is the first national PBS program about contemporary American art and artists. For four seasons (so far), we've developed art:21's evolving visual identity and created its dynamic interstitial sequences. Open also produced animation and special effects with artists such as Laurie Anderson, Barbara Kruger, and Mel Chin. The art:21 website, developed in collaboration with Flat, includes lots of information about the series, the featured artists, and their work.
