Hear it now. WNYC has been the voice of New York ever since it started as the city's "municipal wireless broadcasting station" in 1924. Over 80 years later, WNYC is an independent public radio station with listeners around the world. As part of a move to new offices and away from city ownership, we designed a new logo and identity for WNYC that features all the ways you can listen. We also developed a new WNYC stationery system—and the logo and launch (print and outdoor) campaign for The Takeaway, WNYC's excellent new morning show.

"Our new logo celebrates the evolution of WNYC from radio to digital audio and extends an invitation to join the 'New York conversation.'" —Laura Walker, president, WNYC
